BI Consultant — Retail & FMCG

We're looking for a commercially sharp BI Consultant with deep roots in retail and FMCG to join our Analytics practice. You'll lead client engagements from requirements to delivery — designing dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions that give enterprise clients genuine competitive insight.

• Lead end-to-end BI delivery: from discovery workshops and data requirements to dashboard deployment.
• Design and build Power BI and Tableau solutions optimised for retail KPIs — sell-through, inventory, customer lifetime value.
• Write complex SQL to transform raw data from ERP, commerce, and POS systems into analytics-ready models.
• Present insights and recommendations directly to senior client stakeholders (VPs, Directors, C-suite).
• Define and document BI standards, naming conventions, and governance frameworks for client environments.
• Support pre-sales activity: scoping, effort estimation, and solution design for new engagements.
• Train and enable client-side BI teams to build and maintain reports independently.

• 5+ years in BI consulting or analytics engineering, with demonstrable retail or FMCG experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data model design) and/or Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills across multiple dialects; experience with dbt is a plus.
• Experience connecting BI tools to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and commerce platforms.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills — confident operating at C-suite level.
• Based in or willing to work from Riyadh or Dubai (client-facing role).

• Experience with Looker or Qlik.
• Knowledge of retail analytics standards:
  Nielsen, IRI, or syndicated data.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or Big Query as BI semantic layers.
• Arabic language skills (beneficial for KSA client engagements).
