We are looking for a Systems Administrator to maintain, monitor, and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure—including servers, networking equipment, virtualization platforms, and cloud services that support our learning management system (LMS) and internal operations.

• Server Management:
  Install, configure, and patch Windows and Linux servers (physical and virtual).
• Virtualization:
  Manage VMware vSphere / Hyper‑V environments, create and maintain virtual machines.
• Cloud Administration:
  Oversee Azure or AWS resources used for LMS hosting, backups, and development environments.
• Network Maintenance:
  Configure firewalls, switches, VPNs, and ensure reliable LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Access Management:
  Administer Active Directory/LDAP, implement role‑based access controls, and handle onboarding/offboarding.
• Monitoring and Alerting:
  Use tools such as Zabbix, Solar Winds, or Azure Monitor to track performance, detect anomalies, and respond to incidents.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery:
  Schedule regular backups, test restoration procedures, and maintain DR documentation.
• Security Compliance:
  Apply security patches, enforce hardening standards, and support internal compliance audits (e.g., NCA, ISO
  27001).
• Documentation:
  Keep accurate system diagrams, SOPs, and change‑management records.

  Work closely with the IT support team and developers to troubleshoot application‑related issues.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
• Experience:
  
  3–5years in systems administration, preferably in a SaaS or e‑learning environment.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficient with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu). Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). Experience with networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and VPNs. Familiarity with Active Directory/LDAP, Group Policy, and identity management. Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Azure Backup) and disaster‑recovery planning. Scripting/automation (Power Shell, Bash) for routine tasks.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent communication in English (Arabic is a plus), and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desired Extras:
  Experience supporting Learning Management Systems (Moodle, Blackboard, or proprietary platforms). Understanding of compliance standards relevant to Saudi corporate training (e.g., NCA, GDPR equivalents).
• Certifications (preferred):
  Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
