Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Engineer with 8+ years of experience and a strong background in financial services to define, own, and execute our hybrid cloud strategy
. This is a lead technical role requiring deep, hands-on expertise across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments
, with proven success delivering secure, compliant on-prem to cloud migrations in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and management of hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + cloud)
Own and execute on-prem to cloud migrations with minimal business risk
Design secure cloud landing zones
, networking, and identity integrations
Optimize cloud cost, performance, reliability, and scalability
Ensure high availability, resilience, security, and performance across cloud platforms
Lead infrastructure lifecycle management
, including capacity planning, patching, and upgrades
Act as the senior technical authority for cloud and infrastructure decisions
Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption and automation practices
Support CI/CD pipelines and modern application delivery models

Technical Skills

Enterprise networking and security
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
CI/CD tools and automation
Scripting:
Power Shell, Bash, Python
Monitoring and logging platforms

Required Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years of IT Infrastructure and Cloud experience
Mandatory experience in the financial services industry
Proven ownership of on-prem to cloud migrations
Strong expertise in VMware and enterprise networking
Hands-on experience with GCP
Experience working in regulated, audit-driven environments
