Director of Technology Operations

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Technology Operations Director to lead and oversee all technology operations, infrastructure, enterprise systems, service delivery, and IT operational excellence across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of all technology services while aligning technology operations with business objectives. This role requires a strategic leader with strong operational expertise, proven people management skills, and the ability to drive digital transformation initiatives while maintaining high levels of service availability and operational efficiency.

• Develop and execute the overall Technology Operations strategy in alignment with business goals
• Lead and manage technology operations teams, including infrastructure, cloud services, networks, service management, end-user support, and enterprise applications
• Establish operational KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics to ensure service excellence
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and cost optimization

• Oversee enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, data centers, networks, and workplace technology
• Ensure high availability, resilience, scalability, and performance of all technology platforms
• Lead capacity planning, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational risk management initiatives
• Manage infrastructure modernization and technology transformation programs

• Ensure efficient IT service delivery and support operations across the organization
• Establish and maintain ITIL-based service management practices
• Monitor service performance and implement corrective actions to improve user experience and operational effectiveness
• Drive incident, problem, change, and release management processes

• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
• Ensure operational adherence to governance frameworks, technology standards, and audit requirements
• Lead risk mitigation initiatives related to technology operations and service continuity
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and strategic partners
• Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance aligns with business expectations
• Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal resource utilization

• Build, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing technology operations teams
• Partner with executive leadership to support business growth and digital initiatives
• Present operational performance updates, technology roadmaps, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in IT Operations, Technology Infrastructure, Service Delivery, or Technology Management
• Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale technology operations
• Strong experience managing enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, networks, and IT service management functions
• Proven experience leading large operational teams and cross-functional technology initiatives
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and operational controls
• Experience managing technology budgets, vendor contracts, and strategic technology investments
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
