Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a visionary Reporting Engineer / Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. You will be at the forefront of digital transformation, responsible for architecting high-caliber, real‑time Power BI ecosystems that drive strategic decision‑making for some of the world’s most ambitious Mega and Giga‑projects.
The ideal candidate is not just a technical expert in DAX and M; you are a data storyteller capable of translating complex datasets into executive‑ready insights that ensure project success.
What You’ll Be DoingEnd-to-End Development: Architect, automate, and maintain live, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports from the ground up.
Data Orchestration: Create and manage tools to harvest raw datasets from internal and external stakeholders, integrating diverse systems into a unified “single source of truth.”
Executive Reporting: Lead the production of high‑level performance presentations (bilingual where required) covering all project management and operational aspects.
Performance Engineering: Develop and implement robust Performance Management Systems to monitor and measure critical KPIs and S‑curves.
Quality & Integrity: Safeguard data reliability by performing deep‑dive qualitative and quantitative analysis, identifying discrepancies, and implementing root‑cause enhancements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between technical data and senior leadership, presenting complex analytics to high‑profile.
clients and executive audiences.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven expertise in data analytics and reporting.
Regional Expertise: Mandatory GCC experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on KSA Giga‑projects or Mega‑projects.
Technical Mastery: Expert‑level proficiency in Power BI Desktop (DAX and M languages) and Power BI Service.
Education & Background: A track record of working with leading international firms on large‑scale portfolios or programs.
Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory;
Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
The Consultant’s Eye: Precise, organized, and observed with a knack for aesthetic, “boardroom‑ready” data visualization.
Analytical Rigor: Capabilities in data mining, data science, database querying, and manipulation.
Versatility: Skilled in creating a wide range of visual assets, including Bar/Line charts, S‑Curves, Waterfall charts, and custom infographics (Photoshop skills are a plus).
Timeliness: A proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines and manage the high‑pressure environment of major infrastructure projects.
