The Cyber Security Architect works across the entire Cyber Security division. The position is responsible for defining and managing the enterprise Cyber Security architecture for Maaden Corporate and Business Units in Saudi Arabia, India, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, and Mauritius.
Responsibilities- Design and execute the Enterprise Cybersecurity Architecture to support Maaden's cybersecurity posture and digitization plans.
- Provide SME technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices to deliver and maintain the Cyber Security Architecture strategic roadmap.
- Build the enterprise security architecture and participate in the design reviews of Maaden mega projects and expansion plans.
- Ensure appropriate technical standards and security controls are defined for the group IT infrastructure, applications, and cross‑group assets.
- Perform evaluation and selection of new security solutions.
- Support the implementation of new digital and technology solutions.
- Report key Security Architecture issues for escalation and decision making.
- Manage cybersecurity risk assessments and impact analysis activities in line with Maaden ERM frameworks and guidelines.
- Manage and maintain the Maaden Cybersecurity Architecture framework, policies, and standards.
- Act as an architecture board member in relevant Maaden technology boards.
- Serve as a key SME of the Cyber Security Architecture Competence Centers, acting as the best‑practice authority on methodologies and procedures.
- Mentor and coach the team both technically and managerially.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degree desirable.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of related experience in Cybersecurity or IT.
