PMIS Technical Specialist – Systems in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is an IT and Services opportunity with Parsons Corporation for a technical implementation professional who can configure, administer, integrate, and support project management information systems across large client programmes.

The role focuses on PMIS implementation, ERP integration, APIs, programming, Power BI data models, SSRS reporting, client requirements analysis, technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and software support within project and construction management environments.

Role Context

The PMIS Technical Specialist will support the delivery and implementation of project management information systems for major programmes, working close to client teams, implementation specialists, IT stakeholders, and project delivery users.

This position combines technical configuration, system administration, integration development, programming, data extraction, dashboard support, and user knowledge transfer. The role is suited for a hands‑on technical specialist who can work with limited supervision while supporting PMIS platforms, APIs, reporting layers, data models, and business requirements in a live programme environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, configure, administer, and support PMIS platforms in line with client needs, project requirements, and programme delivery processes.
  • Lead the development of integration scenarios between PMIS, ERP systems, and specialist technology platforms using APIs.
  • Manage integration programme activities, including technical planning, coordination, testing, issue resolution, and stakeholder updates.
  • Use programming skills to maintain applications, support technical enhancements, and resolve system‑related issues.
  • Adapt to new technologies adopted across implementation projects and build working proficiency in new platforms where required.
  • Lead information‑gathering sessions with clients to understand business needs, system requirements, project workflows, and operational priorities.
  • Analyze client information, prioritize requirements, and support alignment between PMIS configuration and business plans.
  • Perform data extraction from PMIS platforms and prepare structured datasets for analytics and reporting use.
  • Build data models in Microsoft Power BI to support dashboards, visualizations, and programme performance analysis.
  • Develop and support advanced query‑based reporting using SSRS and related reporting tools.
  • Write DAX queries where required to support Power BI reports, calculations, measures, and analytical outputs.
  • Coordinate and review solution designs with client representatives, internal teams, IT stakeholders, and implementation partners.
  • Prepare technical documentation covering configurations, integrations, workflows, reporting logic, support procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer sessions to client IT teams on specialist technologies and implemented solutions.
  • Provide day‑to‑day software operation support for internal and external business partners.
  • Troubleshoot PMIS issues, integration errors, data problems, reporting defects, and user support requests.
  • Support testing, validation, deployment, and post‑implementation stabilization of PMIS and integrated systems.
  • Maintain clear records of technical decisions, requirements, design notes, change requests, support actions, and system updates.
  • Collaborate with project management, construction management, IT, data, reporting, and programme controls teams to support reliable digital delivery.
  • Promote practical system improvements that enhance usability, reporting accuracy, data integrity, and business value.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant technical field from an accredited university or institute.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of related experience in IT implementation projects involving integration, programming, and PMIS implementation.
