Responsibilities

  • Senior Principal Architect is a highly technical resource responsible for working with or without Sales early in the process to articulate the overall value of HPE Networking’s AI/ML Infrastructure, Datacenter, and WAN Networking Solutions and strategy.
  • Advise Sales Engineers and partners on the recommended technical approach and solution.
  • Responsible for the architecture of end‑to‑end Networking Infrastructure solutions with deep technical expertise in all aspects of networking.
  • Drive Network architecture and designs to ensure customers’ business and technical requirements are met.
  • In a complex Networking Infrastructure deal, the Senior Principal Architect will be responsible for the end‑to‑end technical solution & customizations orchestrating other Specialists and Technical resources and including Systems Engineers as well as Product Management.
  • As a Senior Principal Architect, you will review and provide insights based on HW and SW technical configurations for the solution addressing the customer requirements and ensuring successful project implementation.
  • Develop deep partnerships with Integrators and other key partners to design solutions to solve emerging and complex problems for customers across industries, workloads.
  • Architect and design Hyperscale Network Solutions that deliver against customers’ requirements and business challenges.
  • Excel in delivering Demos and Proof of Concept on solutions as well as clearly articulating the value proposition aligned to customer use case.
  • Translate customer business and functional objectives to technical solution requirements.
  • Shape/customize solutions across the entire company portfolio (products, services, solutions) with necessary third‑party components and offered as either CAPEX, SaaS, or IaaS.
  • Close alignment with product management.
  • Work with Sales to articulate technical value, present solutions, and overcome customer objections.
  • Build relationships with senior resources and technical decision makers with key customers.
  • Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and hand‑over to the delivery team.
  • Sizing, design, configuration, and pricing of technical solutions, using sizing and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in technology or related field preferred, or equivalent technical qualifications.
  • 12+ years of technical experience in Network Infrastructure Design with a focus on technical consulting and solutions selling.
  • 5+ industry standard relevant technology certifications or equivalent experience expected.
  • Hyperscale Network architecture frameworks and project management methodologies and certifications are desirable.
  • Working knowledge of hands‑on with JunOS, EOS, IOS – certifications preferred.
  • Strong resource management skills, including how and when to effectively engage SMEs/specialists/Engineering resources.
  • Hands‑on experience with multiple Networking products, solutions, tools, or services aligned to respective job responsibility.
  • Ability to design and develop a playbook for demonstrations or walkthroughs of products, solutions, tools, or services.
  • Ability to deliver live demonstrations or walkthroughs of products, solutions, tools, or services to customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Unique mastery of partner offerings and how/when to leverage them for deals within an area of specialization.
  • Professional with strong business acumen and general management guidance abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships with technical decision makers and C‑level executives in client organizations.
  • Experience preparing RFP/Tender response documents like compliance to the RFP, bill of materials, commercial/pricing, and solution documents to drive a successful response.
  • Arabic speaking is highly desirable.
  • Formal or informal technical sales leadership or mentoring is desired.
  • Certifications such as JNCIE or equivalent are desired.
  • Programming – exposure and familiarity with API's, Postman, JSON, Python, etc. is desired.
