JOB PURPOSE - The IT Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management and successful delivery of technology projects within the Oracle and Business Intelligence (BI) domain. This role entails detailed planning, execution, and closure of projects—ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. The position requires a strong focus on managing project resources, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication, with all activities documented for HR and compliance records.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope definition, work breakdown structures, schedules, resource allocation, and budget tracking for Oracle and BI reporting projects.
• Monitor project progress against milestones and adjust plans as necessary to address deviations or delays.
• Utilize Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) for iterative development and delivery, with selective application of waterfall approaches for specific project phases or requirements.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet the defined Definition of Done (DoD) and quality benchmarks, particularly for live data products and reporting systems.

• Facilitate daily stand-ups and weekly progress review meetings to track task completion, identify impediments, and align team efforts.
• Prepare and distribute regular status reports, risk logs, and updates for steering committees and key stakeholders.

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including but not limited to: project charters, requirements documents, user stories, test plans, and closure reports.
• Ensure all project artifacts are stored in designated systems (e.g., Azure Dev Ops) and are accessible for audit and review purposes.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Maintain a formal risk register and implement contingency plans as required.
• Foster effective collaboration within cross-functional teams, including data engineers, BI developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT project management.
• Proven track record of managing Oracle-based data platforms and Business Intelligence or data warehousing projects from initiation to closure.
• Documented experience with Agile frameworks and project management tools, specifically Azure Dev Ops.

• Project delivery adherence to scheduled timelines and allocated budget.
• Accuracy and completeness of project documentation.
• Effectiveness of risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Stakeholder satisfaction feedback from business and IT partners.

• 10+ years experience supporting Oracle Retail applications
• Deep knowledge of retail business processes
