Oracle Fusion Financials – SME

Position- ERP Technical Functional Manager
Reports to – IT Director Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion Financials Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide strategic functional guidance and support. The ideal candidate will be a key player in leveraging the Oracle Fusion platform—specifically in Financials, Procurement, Fixed Assets, Project Management, and Lease & Trade Management—to meet business objectives, ensure system integrity, and support both domestic (KSA) and international operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Functional Leadership & Business Support:

  • Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion Financials, providing advisory and solutions to the business, particularly for KSA and International Retail operations.
  • Support business users in analyzing and validating solutions on V16 Retail Financials and resolving operational issues within and across Fusion applications and integrated systems (RMS, ReIM, RTM, OTM).
  • Work on future enhancements and requirements for Fusion applications, ensuring they align with business goals.
  • Streamline Fusion Procurement processes for international countries.
Solution Validation & Project Lifecycle Management:
  • Review and validate solutions provided by vendors or third parties, guiding them through the SIT, UAT, and PROD deployment cycles.
  • Act as a key liaison to vendor support, validating fixes and analyzing solutions for issue resolution.
  • Lead the business analysis, testing, and rollout for key Fusion Financial systems, including:
  • EPM (Enterprise Performance Management):
    Simplify financial closing and allocation processes for global operations.
  • FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close):
    Address challenges in consolidating global business finances and manage financial eliminations for inter-company transactions.
  • Fusion Assets:
    Oversee the process for stocking asset-purchased units before allocation.
Audit & Compliance:
  • Support the Finance department during external and internal audit periods.
  • Facilitate IT audits (both internal and external) during quarterly and yearly reviews.
Strategic Initiatives & System Governance:
  • Collaborate with Oracle Global Support on critical defects, enhancements, and data corruption fixes for Fusion and Retail Financials.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives, such as the Evolve analysis program, partnering with external partners and the procurement department on systems involving EBS and Fusion.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the EBS system and its integration with Fusion applications.
  • Ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is properly captured and documented for all major issues and fixes.
  • Develop and deliver training to business users to foster system proficiency and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • ERP certification (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, TOGAF, or Agile certifications are advantageous.
Experience
  • 8–12 years of ERP implementation and support experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in ERP leadership or management roles.
  • Experience managing enterprise-wide ERP implementations and upgrades.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendors.
  • Strong background in ERP integrations, reporting, and business process optimization.
