Senior Security Assurance Solutions Architect - KSA Nationals, AWS Security Assurance Services

Job Summary

The AWS Security Assurance Services (SAS) team, part of Amazon Web Services, builds scalable security solutions to secure workloads for internal and external customers. As a Senior Security Assurance Solution Architect you will lead the expansion of the Security Assurance practice, educate customers on product‑led, people‑powered services, and help them migrate their workloads and regulated data to AWS while meeting risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

• Lead teams of Amazonians, partners, and customers to strengthen security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define innovative compliance and risk‑management approaches that help customers move sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster.
• Resolve security assurance questions and manage risk to achieve compliance while operating in AWS through deep‑dive discussions, strategic presentations, recommendations, and hands‑on demonstrations of automated compliance.
• Lead efforts with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback to influence AWS technology roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.

• Experience in information security and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Security, or related fields.
• Experience in risk management and internal audit, including risk assessments, audits, control design, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk.
• Experience securing cloud software services and understanding design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• 3+ years advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards and regulations such as NIST 800‑53 and GDPR.
• CPA, CMA, CISA, CIA, or equivalent risk, audit, or compliance credentials.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GCIH, GSEC, or Security+.
• Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Experience performing security assessments and information‑system audits of networks, operating systems, application security, and IT processes.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
