This role supports a major program by coordinating technical interfaces, managing integration documentation, reviewing vendor proposals, and helping multiple systems, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders work together through design, testing, commissioning, migration, cutover, and handover.

Role ContextThe Systems Integration Specialist
- Digital Infrastructure will support the coordination of connected digital systems across a complex client and PMC delivery environment. The role is central to ensuring that smart city technologies, telecom networks, data centers, ELV platforms, IoT systems, monitoring environments, and operational teams are properly aligned before handover. It requires a practical integration mindset, strong documentation discipline, technical coordination ability, and awareness of operational, cybersecurity, data protection, and resilience requirements.
- Support the Manager of Utilities and Integration Manager in delivering systems integration activities across digital infrastructure, smart city, telecommunications, data center, ICT, and ELV work streams.
- Coordinate integration requirements between fiber networks, IoT platforms, telecommunications systems, ELV systems, data centers, smart platforms, NOC environments, SOC environments, and other connected technologies.
- Prepare and maintain Interface Control Documents, interface registers, dependency logs, integration trackers, issue logs, decision registers, escalation records, and interface matrices.
- Capture technical interface requirements covering data flows, communication protocols, ownership boundaries, cybersecurity controls, operational dependencies, system responsibilities, and monitoring expectations.
- Review vendor and consultant integration proposals to confirm alignment with project architecture, technical standards, security requirements, and operational readiness objectives.
- Assist with integration specifications, data mapping documents, technical review comments, test records, interface schedules, and integration planning material.
- Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, stakeholder coordination meetings, vendor sessions, and system integration planning discussions.
- Support integration activities involving APIs, BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, MQTT, SFTP, middleware platforms, and other system interface technologies.
- Track integration issues, defects, unresolved dependencies, open decisions, vendor actions, and technical risks through structured registers and follow-up processes.
- Help troubleshoot multi‑system integration issues during design, testing, commissioning, migration, cutover, operational readiness, and handover stages.
- Coordinate with NOC, SOC, Operations and Maintenance, and Facilities Management teams to validate alarms, dashboards, escalation procedures, monitoring workflows, and service readiness requirements.
- Review as‑built documentation, integration diagrams, system architecture drawings, operational runbooks, testing evidence, and handover packages.
- Check that integration deliverables align with ICT, telecommunications, data center, cybersecurity, PDPL, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and operational resilience requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, dashboards, progress summaries, risk registers, management presentations, and coordination updates for project teams and stakeholders.
- Identify interface risks, vendor dependencies, technical conflicts, documentation gaps, and operational readiness issues, then support practical mitigation actions.
- Assist with knowledge transfer by preparing interface documentation, test evidence, operational playbooks, lessons learned, and closeout records.
- Promote effective collaboration between clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, technology providers, and internal project teams.
- Support additional technical integration responsibilities required for successful project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in ICT, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Saudi National candidate required.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in systems integration, ICT, telecommunications, ELV, smart city, data center, or digital infrastructure projects.
