Data Privacy Consultant

In this role you will ensure compliance with PDPL and other data protection regulations, draft and amend internal policies, advise stakeholders, promote a culture of data protection, conduct audits, maintain records of all data processing activities, and serve as the primary point of contact for data protection authorities.

• Ensure that client policies are in compliance with codes of practice such as PDPL (Personal Data Protection Low).
• Draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with the organization's key stakeholders.
• Inform and advise the data controller or data processor on all matters related to data protection.
• Promote a culture of data protection and compliance across all units of the organization.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance and address potential issues.
• Maintain records of all data processing activities of the company.
• Serve as point of contact for data protection authorities.

• 5+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or information Management from a recognized and approved program.
• Knowledge of industry-leading data governance and data management practices.
• Practical track records in data privacy practices, business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets and approaches.
• CDMP Certified.
• CIPP certification is a plus.

Fluency in Arabic & English is highly desirable.
