Cloud Consultant - OpenShift; Saudi nationals

Job Summary

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Cloud Consultant focused on Red Hat Cloud Products to join us in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will participate in the design and development of cloud‑ready infrastructure and application architectures, including automated container platforms and deployment pipelines. You will lead and/or be part of the on‑site implementation of Red Hat technologies such as Red Hat Open Shift and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, playing a key role in our customers’ enterprise development and helping them make strategic decisions.

To be considered for this role you must be a KSA passport holder or hold Premium Residency in KSA.

• Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, development, or strategic IT requirements.
• Understand industry practices and Red Hat's policies, procedures, and values.
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting best methods to obtain solutions.
• Implement and integrate Red Hat's open and hybrid cloud solutions, including Red Hat Open Shift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and other Red Hat offerings.
• Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals.
• Contribute to project documentation, diagrams, and support case management.
• Mentor and share your knowledge with customers and the team.
• Define and promote the adoption of automation techniques and Dev Ops processes to improve the cloud lifecycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time‑to‑market.
• Implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods.

• Advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Hands‑on experience and knowledge of Red Hat Open Shift Platform or underlying components such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Hands‑on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, and security.
• Ability to communicate value, progress, and metrics of key projects to stakeholders in both technical and business audiences.
• Capacity to study independently, learn quickly, and apply new ideas in practice.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Availability to work onsite at customer sites over 50% of the time.
