Data Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Data Catalog & Metadata Management
• Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise Data Catalog solutions to ensure metadata consistency and data discoverability.
• Inventory, document, classify, and tag enterprise data assets within the Data Catalog.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure metadata accurately represents enterprise data assets.
• Improve data accessibility through proper metadata management, classification, and catalog structuring.
• Support the design and implementation of metadata models, workflows, and governance processes.

• Configure and maintain Data Governance tools and dashboards to monitor policy compliance and governance processes.
• Support implementation and enforcement of enterprise data governance policies through automated workflows and controls.
• Work closely with Data Stewards, Data Custodians, and business stakeholders to ensure governance policies are consistently applied.
• Prepare and maintain governance documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
• Monitor governance compliance and recommend process improvements.

• Support implementation of enterprise data classification frameworks.
• Ensure appropriate classification labels are assigned to enterprise data assets.
• Maintain data classification standards aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams to maintain classification accuracy.

• Perform comprehensive data profiling and quality assessments using approved Data Quality (DQ) tools.
• Configure, administer, and optimize Data Quality platforms such as Informatica, Collibra, Talend, Ataccama, or equivalent.
