Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain network devices, ensuring optimal performance and implementation of security protocols.
- Troubleshoot network issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Monitor network traffic and performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
- Install and configure network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Install and maintain communication and data cabling systems.
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Holds certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent, demonstrating foundational networking knowledge.
- Has a minimum of 8 years of experience in a network technician role, showcasing practical application of skills.
- Demonstrates proficiency in network troubleshooting, including experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
