Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex spatial databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying for diverse projects.
- Design, create, and automate the production of high-quality maps and geospatial visualizations for reports and presentations.
- Perform advanced spatial analysis, including suitability modeling, network analysis, and geostatistics, to derive actionable insights.
- Integrate and manage diverse datasets from various sources (e.g., GPS, remote sensing, tabular data) into a cohesive GIS environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) in GIS analysis, database management, and cartographic production within a relevant industry such as environmental, urban planning, or utilities.
- Proficiency in core GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, and related extensions (Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst).
- Strong understanding of spatial data formats (e.g., Shapefile, GeoJSON, Geodatabase) and database management systems (SQL, PostgreSQL).
