SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Responsible for configuring, maintaining, developing and supporting FI/CO module and integrated application management. Analyze business & systems processes and recommend improvements. Innovative mindset with a focus to bring efficiency and improvement in solutions and processes.

SAP S4/HANA FICO:

• Design, configure, and manage business processes in SAP FI/CO, specifically GL, AP, AR, Assets, Banks, and Controlling components.
• Provide guidance on integration of SAP FI/CO modules with other SAP modules like MM, SD, PP, and PS.

Application Customization and Development:

• Manage the customization of SAP functionalities, including reports, smart forms, scripts, programs, BAPIs, and other enhancements.
• Work closely with the ABAP team to ensure that customization and development tasks meet business requirements.

Cross-Module Integration:

• Integrate SAP FICO modules with SAP MM, SD, PP, and PS to ensure seamless business operations and data flow across modules.

SAP Cash Management and Treasury &

Risk Management:

• Apply a basic understanding of SAP S4/HANA Cash Management, Treasury & Risk Management components for business process optimization.

Business Requirements and Solution Design:

• Analyze business requirements to identify optimal solutions and recommend SAP system configurations.
• Assess the functional, technical, and integration impacts across business areas and external systems.

Customization and Development Coordination:

• Collaborate with business users to identify process requirements leading to system customizations.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications and coordinate with the ABAP team for development and testing.

Problem Solving and Support:

• Provide expert troubleshooting and problem-solving support to end-users.
• Resolve system errors and deliver effective solutions in a timely manner.

Process Review and Continuous Improvement:

• Review current finance and controlling processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design, implement, and monitor innovative solutions and best practices to optimize system performance.

Documentation and Change Management:

• Prepare detailed solution design documents and document system changes as per organizational change management processes.

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

• Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
