Cloud Consultant

Responsible for designing, governing, and delivering secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions across public cloud platforms. The role supports enterprise cloud transformation by defining cloud architecture strategies, leading migration and modernization initiatives, establishing cloud foundations, and enabling Dev Ops practices that ensure reliable, automated, and secure service delivery while aligning with business and technology objectives.

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures for enterprise workloads and cloud-native applications across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Lead enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives using industry best practices and structured migration frameworks.
• Define and implement cloud landing zones that meet governance, security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Ensure operational readiness through monitoring, logging, observability, disaster recovery, and reliability best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent automation tools.
• Support the implementation of Dev Ops and platform engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Develop cloud architecture strategies aligned with organizational objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Define migration approaches, including rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild, and replace strategies, based on business and technical requirements.
• Evaluate cloud solutions and recommend scalable, secure, and cost-effective architecture designs.
• Contribute to cloud adoption roadmaps and modernization plans.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using cloud-native services and automation technologies.
• Develop reusable cloud architecture patterns, standards, and deployment frameworks.
• Promote Dev Ops, Dev Sec Ops , containerization, and automation best practices across projects.
• Support continuous improvement of cloud platforms and infrastructure capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout cloud migration and transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Dev Ops teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities by conducting architecture workshops, developing solution designs, and contributing to technical proposals.
• Engage with customers and cloud service providers to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Ensure cloud architectures comply with organizational governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote cloud architecture standards, best practices, and enterprise design principles.
• Incorporate identity and access management (IAM), security controls, and resilience into solution designs.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud consulting, infrastructure engineering, or related roles.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, Dev Ops practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Hashi Corp Terraform Associate (preferred).
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD) (preferred).
• Relevant Dev Ops or cloud engineering certifications are advantageous.
