Position OverviewWe are actively seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior SAP Success Factors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant to join our Global HRIS team. In this critical role, you will lead the architecture, design, and deployment of complex global payroll solutions across diverse regions.
With a minimum of 6 years of specialized ECP and SAP Payroll experience, you will spearhead payroll rollouts across North America (NA), Asia-Pacific (APAC), and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). A major component of this role involves engineering and managing sophisticated payroll solutions for countries that lack default localization within the Success Factors ecosystem, requiring deep technical mastery of custom payroll rules and schemas.

- Non-Localized Country Expertise: Design, configure, and manage custom ECP solutions for countries that do not have standard, out-of-the-box SAP/Success Factors localizations. This includes building custom tax frameworks, statutory reporting, and benefit calculations from the ground up.
- Payroll Control Center (PCC): Implement, configure, and optimize the Payroll Control Center to streamline payroll processing, validations, and error handling for global payroll administrators.
- Complex Schema Design: Write, modify, and troubleshoot highly complex Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs) and payroll schemas to accommodate unique statutory and union/enterprise requirements globally.
- Integration Management: Manage the Point-to-Point (PTP) integration between Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP), ensuring seamless master data and time data replication.
- Testing & Validation: Lead parallel testing phases, comparing legacy payroll results against ECP, identifying variances, and rectifying configuration discrepancies prior to Go-Live.
- Compliance & Statutory Updates: Actively monitor and apply SAP Notes and legal change packages (LSPs) to ensure ongoing regional compliance, specially adapting these for custom-localized countries.
- Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Partner closely with Global Payroll Managers, Finance, and IT teams to align system capabilities with overarching business and compliance strategies. - Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior payroll consultants and internal payroll administrators on ECP best practices and system usage.
- Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of relevant, hands-on experience in SAP Success Factors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and SAP HCM Payroll.
- Global Footprint: Demonstrated experience managing and implementing payroll across multiple countries within NA, APAC, and EMEA regions.
- Custom Localization Mastery: Proven, hands-on expertise in configuring and maintaining ECP for countries without default SAP localizations (building bespoke gross-to-net calculations, tax rules, and localized reporting).
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of SAP Payroll schemas, PCRs, features, and wage type configuration.
- Integration
Skills:
Strong understanding of EC to ECP PTP integration, including Data Replication Monitor, compound employee APIs, and mapping. - Analytical
Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex payroll discrepancies and calculation errors.
- Active SAP Success Factors Employee Central Payroll Certification.
- Experience integrating ECP with third-party benefits and financial/ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4
HANA Finance). - Familiarity with Success Factors Time Tracking or standard Time Off as it relates to PTP time replication into ECP.
