Consulting AI Architect - Utilities

As an AI Consultant focused on the Oil & Gas and Utilities sector across the Middle East and Africa, you will work with clients to identify, shape, and accelerate AI transformation opportunities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will engage senior stakeholders to understand business priorities, define value-driven AI initiatives, and develop strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and adoption roadmaps that deliver measurable outcomes.

You will work closely with solution architects, engineering teams, delivery teams, sellers, and ecosystem partners to turn client challenges into practical AI solutions. From leading workshops and stakeholder interviews to developing business cases, proposals, ROI models, and proof-of-concept plans, you will play a key role in moving opportunities from initial discussion through to successful engagement. This is a highly visible role within a growing AI practice, requiring a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.

You will help shape regional market demand, contribute to the evolution of AI offerings, and bring insights from client conversations back into the business to strengthen our go-to-market approach. Success in this role requires comfort working in a fast-moving environment, balancing strategic thinking, client engagement, and commercial outcomes. To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, business transformation, AI, data, analytics, or related client-facing roles.
• Experience shaping or delivering AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience working with clients in the Oil & Gas and Utilities sector across the Middle East and Africa.
• Proven ability to develop AI strategies, operating models, transformation roadmaps, value cases, and executive-level business narratives.
• Experience supporting presales activities including opportunity qualification, solution shaping, proposal development, business cases, and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Working knowledge of enterprise AI concepts including large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), data readiness, governance, responsible AI, and adoption considerations.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with leading cloud and AI platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across the region.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel across the Middle East and Africa as required.
