The Cybersecurity Manger will support the organization's cybersecurity operations by helping protect information systems, networks, applications, and data from security threats. The role will work closely with the cybersecurity team to monitor security activities, identify vulnerabilities, support incident response, and promote compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Security Tools: Support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, endpoint security, and monitoring tools.
- Patch Management: Assist with identifying and applying security patches and updates to systems and applications.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments and support the identification and remediation of security weaknesses.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor security events, logs, and alerts to identify potential threats or suspicious activities.
- Incident Response: Support cybersecurity incident investigation, containment, and recovery activities.
- Security Policies: Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
- Security Awareness: Contribute to cybersecurity awareness initiatives and employee training programs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation related to security procedures, incidents, assessments, and configurations.
- Security Compliance: Support compliance with applicable cybersecurity regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Risk Management: Assist with cybersecurity risk assessments and support the identification, documentation, and remediation of security risks.
- Security Assessments: Support internal and external security assessments by preparing documentation and providing required evidence.
- Policy & Procedure Maintenance: Assist in reviewing and updating cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure continued alignment with applicable requirements.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing cybersecurity reports, dashboards, and security metrics for management.
- Third-Party Security: Support security assessments of vendors and third-party service providers when required.
- 2–4 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH
, or equivalent are preferred. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity risk management, governance, and compliance.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining information security.
