Network Engineer

Job Summary

Exequt is a Riyadh-based cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure services company supporting banks, ministries, and enterprises across Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Network Engineer to help maintain reliable, secure, and high-performing customer and internal networks.

• Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot core and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer and support Cisco and Fortinet switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and related security controls.
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security events, escalating incidents when required.
• Investigate connectivity, routing, switching, and access issues and document root-cause findings.
• Implement approved network changes, upgrades, backups, and configuration standards with appropriate change control.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, SOC, infrastructure, and client teams on secure network design and incident response.
• Maintain accurate diagrams, asset records, operating procedures, and technical reports.
• Support compliance-focused projects aligned with applicable Saudi cybersecurity and information security requirements.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI networking, VLANs, trunking, STP, subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, and NAT.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers, and security technologies.
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, security policies, VPNs, high availability, and centralized management.
• Ability to use monitoring, logging, packet capture, and network diagnostic tools to isolate faults.
• Understanding of network segmentation, access control, secure remote access, and defense-in-depth principles.
• Familiarity with change management, configuration backup, network documentation, and incident ticketing.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, write clear reports, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of EDR, SOC workflows, Zero Trust concepts, ISO 27001, NCA controls, or Saudi compliance environments is advantageous.
