Role Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer (OCI) with 3 – 6 years of experience to build, manage, automate, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure environments. The role focuses primarily on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and involves provisioning, operations, automation, security, monitoring, and migration activities.
The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with OCI services, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, and platform operations, along with working knowledge of at least one secondary cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvision and configure OCI resources including Compute, Storage, VCN, Load Balancer, DBCS, and Autonomous Database.
Implement and manage OCI networking components such as VCNs, subnets, NSGs, route tables, gateways, VPNs, Fast Connect, and DNS.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / OCI Resource Manager) modules.
Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, Ansible, and cloud-native tools.
Support CI/CD deployments using OCI Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
Monitor cloud environments using OCI Monitoring, Logging, APM, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
Perform routine operations including patching, backups, certificate renewals, capacity checks, and incident resolution.
Implement cloud security controls including IAM policies, MFA, Vault/KMS, encryption, Bastion, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, and Vulnerability Scanning.
Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives to OCI.
Assist application teams deploying workloads on OKE, Web Logic, Oracle DB, Functions, and API Gateway.
Contribute to cost optimization, automation, and operational documentation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of hands‑on cloud/platform engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years of OCI experience (or strong cloud experience with demonstrable OCI exposure).
- Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and change management.
At least one OCI Associate certification
- OCI Foundations Associate (1Z0-1085)
- OCI Architect Associate (1Z0-1072) or OCI Operations Associate (1Z0-1067)
