As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA/APPS DBA Consultant to join our team and help us provide top-notch services to our clients.
Position Overview:As an Oracle DBA/APPS DBA Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients' Oracle databases and applications. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide technical solutions to optimize their database performance. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining backup and recovery strategies, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting database issues.
This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases and applications for clients
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide technical solutions
- Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform database upgrades and patches
- Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement best practices
- Provide on-call support for critical database issues
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and trends
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA/APPS DBA
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM
- Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
- Experience with database backup and recovery strategies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Oracle certifications (e.g. OCA, OCP) are a plus
