About the job TECHNICAL DUE DILIGENCE EXPERT
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technology Consultant to conduct a comprehensive assessment of IT systems, architecture, and operational readiness for a lending/financial services environment. The role focuses on evaluating scalability, governance, integration readiness, and technology maturity to support business growth and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze the design, flexibility, and scalability of core systems
- Review dependencies on third-party solutions and integration layers
- Assess the platform's ability to support growing transaction volumes and user demand
- Evaluate system performance indicators such as availability, response time, and processing capacity
- Highlight bottlenecks and areas of technical inefficiency
- Review data architecture including storage, processing, and security measures
- Assess data quality frameworks, reporting capabilities, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Evaluate credit scoring tools, decision automation, and monitoring practices
- Identify risks related to model drift, bias, and data inconsistencies
- Review development methodologies (Agile/Dev Ops) and release management practices
- Assess the feasibility of product roadmaps and maturity of engineering functions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in IT consulting, architecture, or technology assessment
- Strong experience in financial services, lending, or fintech environments
- Expertise in system architecture, cloud platforms, and integration frameworks
- Experience with data governance, analytics, and credit decisioning systems
- Familiarity with Agile, Dev Ops, and CI/CD practices
Preferred Skills
- Experience in IT due diligence or technology audits
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
