We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Operational Data Store (ODS) Consultant to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of an enterprise-grade Operational Data Store (ODS) platform for a banking environment.
The role will focus on enabling near real-time operational reporting, regulatory reporting, customer analytics, and enterprise data integration. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, application teams, data engineers, and reporting teams to consolidate data from core banking and peripheral systems into a secure, scalable, and high-performance Oracle ODS environment.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Database technologies, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), enterprise data integration, banking data models, and regulatory data requirements
.
- Define data integration strategies supporting both batch and near real-time processing.
- Design scalable, highly available, and secure ODS architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
- Contribute to technical architecture and data integration decisions.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or equivalent technologies.
- Integrate data from multiple banking systems, including:
- Core Banking
- Retail Banking
- Corporate Banking
- Treasury
- Trade Finance
- Payments
- Cards
- CRM
- Digital Banking Channels
- Internet & Mobile Banking
- AML & Compliance Systems
- Finance & General Ledger
- Risk Management Systems
- Develop incremental loading, Change Data Capture (CDC), reconciliation, and data validation processes.
- Develop advanced SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
- Design partitioning, indexing, materialized views, and database performance optimization strategies.
- Implement data quality controls and validation rules.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot database performance and production issues.
- Maintain integrated customer, account, transaction, product, and channel data.
- Support Customer 360 initiatives and enterprise data integration requirements.
- Implement master and reference data management standards.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across banking channels.
- Support operational dashboards, MIS reporting, and management reporting.
- Enable data requirements for regulatory and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with BI teams using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle BI, or equivalent reporting platforms.
- Support executive dashboards, operational KPIs, and analytical requirements.
- Ensure ODS data processes support applicable central bank and financial regulatory requirements.
- Support AML, KYC, fraud monitoring, audit, and compliance reporting requirements.
- Implement appropriate data retention, encryption, masking, and access control mechanisms.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise information security and data governance policies.

- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Oracle Database Certification is preferred.
- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Certification is preferred.
- 8+ years of Oracle database development experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing Oracle ODS or enterprise data integration solutions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector
