As Area Technology Leader
- Greater Gulf within our Digital Market team, you'll drive the delivery and evolution of technology products and services across the Greater Gulf, bridging global digital strategy with local business needs.

Main responsibilities- Coordinate the local deployment of global technology projects, products, and services, ensuring alignment with Greater Gulf business priorities and close collaboration with global Tech Product and Service Owners.
- Partner with Tech Enterprise Delivery and Global Digital Technology teams to plan, report on, and align technology initiatives across the Greater Gulf region.
- Oversee on-site support operations and local tech vendor performance, ensuring services meet contractual standards, comply with global policies, and consistently deliver a high-quality user experience.
- Lead digital-first service delivery by driving automation, self-help capabilities, and user enablement programs - including building proficiency with AI technologies and self-service tools.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for technology incidents, requests, and needs from local stakeholders, while monitoring service level agreements and defining improvement plans where needed.
- Manage local technology budgets, oversee real-estate tech requirements, and execute local purchasing for digital equipment and services.
- Deliver local tech communications, awareness campaigns, and training sessions to keep all users informed, engaged, and equipped with the latest digital capabilities.
Experience:
10-15 years of experience in Technology Services delivery, preferably within large or complex organizations. Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of technologies and domains, including Windows/M365, IT Service Management (ITSM), and Agile delivery tools such as Service Now, Jira, and Confluence.
- Demonstrated leadership with a drive for innovation and adaptability.
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and a customer-first mindset.
- Proven ability to work effectively in matrix organizations and regulated environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science.
CertificationsITIL Foundation v4 or equivalent is a differentiating qualification.
LanguagesFluent in English (oral and written);
Arabic is a plus.
