TMC Middle East is seeking an experienced Senior VMware Consultant to support a major enterprise-scale virtualization and storage migration project in Riyadh. This role is ideal for VMware specialists with extensive experience in infrastructure transformation, large-scale migrations, and mission-critical virtualization environments.

As a Senior VMware Consultant, you will lead the planning, analysis, and execution of a large-scale VMware infrastructure migration involving more than 150 ESXi hosts and over 1,000 virtual machines. The project includes the migration of enterprise storage systems from Dell EMC to IBM platforms while ensuring minimal business disruption and maintaining service continuity. You will work closely with infrastructure teams, storage architects, system administrators, and stakeholders to deliver a successful migration aligned with VMware best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in VMware vSphere environments, advanced migration methodologies, and enterprise data center operations.

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of VMware infrastructure migration projects.
• Assess existing virtualization environments and develop migration strategies.
• Manage large-scale virtual machine migrations across enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Perform Storage vMotion activities and datastore migrations.
• Design migration runbooks, implementation plans, rollback procedures, and validation processes.
• Ensure migration activities are completed with minimal downtime and operational impact.
• Troubleshoot VMware infrastructure, storage, and performance-related issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, network, and security teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement VMware best practices for availability, scalability, performance, and security.
• Monitor migration progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Prepare technical documentation, migration reports, and operational handover materials.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project execution.

• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
• Proven experience executing enterprise VMware migration projects.
• Hands-on expertise with Storage vMotion and datastore migration activities.
• Strong understanding of VMware architecture, virtualization technologies, and operational best practices.
• Experience planning and executing large-scale infrastructure transformations.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience working within enterprise data center environments.
• Ability to manage project deliverables in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Riyadh for the project duration.

• VMware VCP, VCAP, or VCDX certifications.
• Experience with Dell EMC storage platforms.
• Experience with IBM storage systems.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Experience with VMware NSX, vSAN, and automation tools.
• Knowledge of cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
