Position Summary
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced AI/ML Engineer specializing in Industrial Analytics to join a major Industrial AI transformation initiative in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will design, develop, deploy, and operationalize advanced Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning solutions that enable predictive analytics, process optimization, industrial automation, and intelligent decision‑making across refinery and Oil & Gas operations.
This role is ideal for AI professionals with strong expertise in machine learning, industrial data analytics, MLOps, cloud AI platforms, and Generative AI technologies seeking to make a significant impact in large‑scale industrial environments.
Job Description
As an AI/ML Engineer, you will work alongside data scientists, AI architects, process engineers, OT/IT specialists, and business stakeholders to build and maintain enterprise AI solutions that leverage industrial datasets, time-series analytics, predictive modeling, NLP, and Generative AI. You will be responsible for the complete AI lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and optimization. Additionally, you will support Industrial AI applications focused on equipment health monitoring, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, yield optimization, process intelligence, and operational efficiency.

- Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for industrial use cases.
- Build predictive analytics solutions utilizing industrial and operational datasets.
- Develop and optimize time-series forecasting and anomaly detection models.
- Implement AI and data science solutions supporting refinery and industrial operations.
- Design and deploy NLP, Large Language Model (LLM), and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
- Create feature engineering, model training, and model evaluation pipelines.
- Develop MLOps workflows for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Work with Azure and AWS cloud‑based AI and Machine Learning services.
- Develop optimization algorithms to improve operational and business outcomes.
- Support predictive maintenance, process optimization, and asset performance initiatives.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to build scalable AI‑ready data pipelines.
- Analyze large‑scale industrial and operational datasets.
- Perform model tuning, validation, and performance optimization.
- Ensure AI solutions meet governance, security, and reliability requirements.
- Document models, workflows, and technical implementation standards.
- Participate in Industrial AI innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Advanced Analytics.
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning algorithms and model development.
- Experience developing Deep Learning solutions.
