BO Core CS DT Engineer | Tangent International

Position Summary

Tangent International is urgently seeking an experienced BO Core CS DT Engineer to support live Circuit Switched (CS) Core network operations and integration activities for a major telecommunications project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating, configuring, validating, and optimizing CS Core network elements while ensuring seamless signaling, routing, and service delivery across mission-critical telecom networks.

As a BO Core CS DT Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting live network integration, network expansion, configuration management, signaling implementation, and core network optimization activities. You will be responsible for configuring and validating core network nodes, preparing deployment templates (DTs), implementing signaling routes, and ensuring the performance and reliability of CS Core infrastructure.

The role requires deep expertise in legacy and modern telecom signaling technologies, circuit-switched core networks, mobility services, numbering portability, and network routing. You will collaborate closely with operations, planning, optimization, and vendor teams to maintain network stability and support service enhancements.

• Integrate, configure, modify, and support Circuit Switched (CS) Core network nodes within a live production network.
• Prepare, validate, review, and implement core network configuration scripts and Deployment Templates (DTs).
• Implement network designs and end-to-end signaling routing configurations.
• Configure and support Diameter, SIP, SS7/C7, SIGTRAN, M2PA, and M3UA signaling protocols.
• Support and administer MSC, MSS, MGW, GMSC, HLR/HSS, STP, DSC, and IP-STP platforms.
• Configure analysis tables, Intelligent Network (IN) triggering, Mobile Number Portability (MNP), and CSFB services.
• Perform configuration audits and recommend optimization and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor signaling performance, network KPIs, and capacity utilization.
• Analyze and troubleshoot signaling, routing, and service-related issues.
• Support network rollout, migration, modernization, and service implementation projects.
• Ensure configuration accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve network incidents and technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and implementation procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience supporting live CS Core network environments.
• Proven hands‑on experience with CS Core integration and configuration activities.
• Deep knowledge of Diameter, SIP, SS7/C7, and SIGTRAN protocols.
• Experience configuring M2PA and M3UA signaling frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of signaling routing and end‑to‑end call flows.
• Experience with MSC, MSS, MGW, GMSC, HLR/HSS, STP, and IP‑STP platforms.
• Hands‑on experience configuring Nb/IP, A/IP, and IuCS/IP interfaces.
• Strong understanding of Mobile Number Portability (MNP) services.
• Experience supporting Circuit Switched Fallback (CSFB) implementations.
• Expertise in analysis table configuration and signaling route management.
• Experience preparing HLR/HSS configuration scripts.
• Knowledge of telecom network KPIs, capacity monitoring, and performance management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong documentation and technical communication capabilities.
