HANA Aerospace & Defense MRO Consultant Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4

HANA Aerospace & Defense MRO Consultant to support a major transformation programme within the Aerospace & Defense sector.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience delivering SAP MRO implementations within leading Aerospace & Defense or Aircraft MRO organisations. This is a specialist role, so candidates with purely generic SAP PM/EAM backgrounds will not be suitable.

• 10-15+ years of SAP experience, including at least 5 years working specifically within Aerospace & Defense MRO.

• Hands‑on experience delivering SAP MRO implementations within major Aerospace & Defense organisations such as Boeing, Airbus, GE Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Rolls‑Royce, Safran, or similar organisations.

• Strong experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA A&D MRO / EAM.

• Proven experience implementing end‑to‑end Aircraft, Engine and Component MRO processes.

• Strong understanding of Aerospace & Defense-specific processes, including:

  • Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)

  • Aircraft and engine maintenance

  • Serialisation and component tracking

  • Configuration and effectivity

  • Maintenance history

  • Parts and component management

  • Technical objects and maintenance structures

• Experience integrating SAP MRO with Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing and Quality.

• Participation in at least one full end‑to‑end Aerospace & Defense MRO implementation.

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on large-scale and complex Aerospace & Defense MRO transformation programmes, particularly within aircraft, engine or defence manufacturing environments.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical implementation experience rather than purely advisory or support‑based experience.

Generic SAP PM/EAM experience alone will not be sufficient for this role.
