Penta Consulting is a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner, delivering professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are seeking a MQ and Websphere Administrator Please see the requirements below.
Key Responsibilities Web Sphere Application Server (Primary Focus)- Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM Web Sphere Application Server (WAS) environments.
- Manage IBM HTTP Server (IHS) and associated middleware infrastructure.
- Deploy and support Java EE applications across development, test, and production environments.
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ queue managers, channels, listeners, and MQ objects.
- Manage distributed queue management and MQ clustering environments.
- Monitor queue activity, message flow, queue depth, and overall system performance.
Minimum 5 years' experience administering IBM Web Sphere Application Server environments.
Strong experience with WAS v9.0.5.x, preferably v9.0.5.17 or later
.
Hands-on experience with:
- JDBC
- JMS
- JNDI
- Clustering and load balancing
- Production support and performance optimization
