IT Asset Management

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team and support the effective management of IT assets across the organization.

About the Role

The IT Asset Management Specialist will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement and deployment through maintenance, tracking, reconciliation, and retirement. The role will ensure accurate asset records, effective utilization of IT resources, compliance with company policies, and optimization of IT asset costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT asset inventories and records.
• Track asset allocation, transfers, returns, replacements, and disposals.
• Conduct periodic physical and system-based asset audits and reconciliations.
• Monitor hardware and software utilization, warranties, and lifecycle status.
• Manage software licenses, renewals, allocations, and compliance.
• Coordinate with IT, procurement, finance, HR, and other stakeholders regarding IT assets.
• Support procurement activities by providing asset requirements, inventory data, and utilization reports.
• Ensure proper tagging, registration, and documentation of IT assets.
• Monitor warranties, maintenance agreements, and asset-related contracts.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved asset utilization.
• Support IT asset disposal and ensure appropriate documentation and data-security procedures.
• Maintain asset records within ITSM, CMDB, ERP, or IT Asset Management systems.
• Prepare periodic reports and dashboards covering asset inventory, utilization, compliance, and lifecycle status.
• Support internal and external audits related to IT assets and software licensing.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical assets and system records.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT Asset Management processes and controls
