Database and PMIS Manager - Project Systems in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a senior I T and Services opportunity for an experienced technology professional specializing in database administration, Project Management Information Systems, systems integration, and enterprise project technology. AECOM is hiring for this on-site role to direct complex technology initiatives supporting major infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, and engineering programs.

The Database and PMIS Manager will provide technical ownership of database and project information systems that underpin complex program delivery. Working across functional and technical teams, the role will guide system implementation, integration, technology upgrades, and database operations while ensuring project platforms remain dependable and aligned with business requirements. As a subject matter expert, the manager will also establish technical direction and strengthen internal capability through mentoring and knowledge transfer.

• Lead database administration and PMIS activities supporting complex infrastructure and engineering programs.
• Provide technical direction for high-complexity information technology projects and project controls systems.
• Plan and manage implementation of new databases, PMIS platforms, system enhancements, and supporting technologies.
• Coordinate integration between project management systems, databases, reporting environments, and related enterprise applications.
• Work across project controls, engineering, construction, commercial, information technology, and management teams to define system requirements.
• Establish technical approaches for database configuration, administration, system integration, and information availability.
• Maintain reliable database environments that support critical project information and reporting requirements.
• Evaluate existing project systems and identify opportunities to improve performance, functionality, integration, and user experience.
• Coordinate technology deployments while controlling system dependencies and minimizing disruption to active project operations.
• Provide specialist troubleshooting for complex database, PMIS, interface, and system performance issues.
• Support structured data management and ensure information can be accessed effectively by authorized project stakeholders.
• Advise project leadership on technology requirements, implementation priorities, system risks, and technical solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their suitability for project and program environments.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams during system implementation, migration, integration, and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation covering configurations, integrations, procedures, and system changes.
• Mentor less experienced IT personnel and provide technical guidance on database and project information management practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for database and PMIS matters across assigned programs.

Candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline and possess at least 12 years of relevant experience in database administration, PMIS implementation, or project controls systems. Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, railway, transportation, construction, or engineering projects is particularly important. Candidate should understand how enterprise technology and project information systems support multidisciplinary delivery environments where data reliability, integration, accessibility, and reporting are operationally critical.
