A leading healthcare organization in Riyadh is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and lead the hospital’s entire technology environment, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, integrations, and technical support operations. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of healthcare technology systems that support both clinical and administrative services.

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for leading the hospital’s information technology strategy, operations, and support services to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and business operations. The role requires extensive experience within healthcare environments, including hospital information systems, infrastructure management, system integrations, cybersecurity, and healthcare data management. You will work closely with clinical departments, executive leadership, vendors, and technology partners to implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will provide leadership to IT teams while driving modernization, digital transformation, and technology governance initiatives aligned with healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Lead and manage all hospital IT operations, infrastructure, applications, networks, and technical support services.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of mission-critical healthcare systems.
• Oversee Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), clinical applications, and supporting infrastructure.
• Manage IT teams, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure service excellence.
• Coordinate with clinical, medical, nursing, and administrative departments to identify technology requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, implementations, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Manage healthcare technology integrations, interoperability frameworks, and data exchange platforms.
• Oversee cybersecurity controls, access management, data protection, and healthcare information security practices.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and operational standards.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, service providers, and implementation partners.
• Monitor IT budgets, resource allocation, procurement activities, and technology investments.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and organizational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
• Prepare technical reports, management updates, and strategic recommendations for leadership.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience within hospitals in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven experience managing hospital IT operations and healthcare technology environments.
• Strong understanding of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), EMR/EHR platforms, and healthcare applications.
• Hands-on experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure, servers, storage, networks, and cloud services.
• Extensive experience with healthcare system integration, interoperability, and clinical data exchange.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, healthcare data protection, access management, and information security controls.
• Experience leading technical support, IT service management, and operational support teams.
• Strong project management, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
