Position Summary

• As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Global Technologies GT, your core responsibilities encompass end-to-end security administration, event monitoring, and incident mitigation.
• You will manage and maintain advanced security technologies including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), proxies, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Your daily operational duties involve monitoring and analyzing security events and logs through SIEM platforms to detect anomalies and potential breaches.
• You will investigate and respond promptly to cybersecurity incidents, security alerts, and threat indicators, executing appropriate containment and mitigation strategies.
• Performing thorough security analyses, identifying infrastructure vulnerabilities, and supporting vulnerability assessments form a critical part of your daily workflow.
• You will implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technical security controls in alignment with organizational requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintaining meticulous technical reports, security documentation, and incident logs ensures operational transparency and audit readiness.

• Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise cybersecurity solutions and technologies.
• Manage and maintain core security platforms including NGFW, WAF, Proxy, Email Security, DLP, EDR, NDR, MDM, and Antivirus.
• Monitor, analyze, and correlate security events and system logs through centralized SIEM platforms.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, alerts, and potential intrusion attempts.
• Perform security analyses, identify threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate mitigation actions.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technical controls.
• Support vulnerability assessments, risk management, and security compliance activities.
• Participate in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of strategic cybersecurity projects.
• Troubleshoot security infrastructure issues to ensure high reliability and effectiveness of security solutions.
• Coordinate seamlessly with IT and security teams during incident response and security operations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and executive security recommendations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
