Network Engineer L3

Position Summary

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Network Engineer L3 to join a leading technology and infrastructure environment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of large-scale enterprise and service provider network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational excellence.

The Network Engineer L3 will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for managing complex network environments across routing, switching, data center, and WAN infrastructures. The role requires deep expertise in Cisco technologies, MPLS networking, routing protocols, VPN services, and modern data center architectures. The ideal candidate will work closely with infrastructure teams, operations teams, and business stakeholders to support mission-critical services, network modernization initiatives, and operational excellence programs.

This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced Cisco platforms, enterprise data centers, and large-scale network deployments.

• Design, implement, and support enterprise and service provider network infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and data center networking platforms.
• Manage MPLS, OSPF, BGP, L2 VPN, L3 VPN, and VXLAN technologies.
• Administer Cisco IOS XR environments and service provider routing infrastructure.
• Support Cisco NCS 55xx and ASR 9000 series platforms.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus 7000 and Nexus 9000 environments.
• Support Cisco ACI fabric implementation and operations.
• Monitor network performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents and restore services within agreed SLAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure projects.
• Document network designs, procedures, and operational standards.
• Ensure network security, stability, and scalability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of networking experience.
• Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Experience with Cisco IOS XR, NCS 55xx, and ASR 9K platforms.
• Deep understanding of MPLS, OSPF, BGP, L2 VPN, L3 VPN, and VXLAN.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 7K, Nexus 9K, and Cisco ACI.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work within mission-critical production environments.

• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent networking certifications.
• Data center architecture experience.
• Network automation exposure.
• Cloud networking knowledge.
• Experience in large enterprise or telecommunications environments.
• Arabic language proficiency.
