Senior Oracle WebLogic Administrator

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Oracle Web Logic Administrator to deploy, manage, and optimize Oracle Web Logic Server and Oracle Fusion Middleware across on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.

You will own the middleware lifecycle, including domain provisioning, clustering, performance tuning, patching, security, high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud migration. The role supports Oracle application and integration platforms such as E-Business Suite, Siebel CRM, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, and Oracle BRM.

• Install, configure, and administer Oracle Web Logic Server 12c and 14c across development, staging, and production environments.
• Design and manage Web Logic domains, Admin Servers, Managed Servers, clusters, machines, and Node Managers.
• Configure JDBC data sources, connection pools, JMS queues and topics, connection factories, and work managers.
• Manage security realms, authentication providers, authorization policies, SSL/TLS certificates, and keystores.
• Deploy and maintain EAR, WAR, and JAR applications, including versioned deployments and rollback procedures.
• Configure session replication and Oracle Coherence where required.

• Administer Oracle SOA Suite components, including composites, BPEL, Mediator, Human Workflow, and Business Rules.
• Manage Oracle Service Bus services, message pipelines, transformations, routing, and throttling.
• Administer Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle Traffic Director, and web-tier routing components.
• Support Oracle Identity and Access Management components, including OAM, OIM, OUD, and OID.
• Administer Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Forms and Reports middleware where applicable.
• Use Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control for monitoring, diagnostics, and configuration management.

• Manage Web Logic and middleware components supporting Oracle E-Business Suite
  , including Web Logic domains, Oracle HTTP Server, and Forms and Reports services.
• Support Siebel CRM middleware components, including the Application Interface, Gateway, Siebel Servers, and web services.
• Administer Oracle SOA, OSB, and AIA integrations, including deployments, fault management, adapters, and endpoints.
• Support Oracle BRM middleware integrations, web services, and Web Logic-hosted APIs.

• Design Web Logic clusters for horizontal scaling and active-active or active-passive availability.
• Configure traffic routing and load balancing using Oracle Traffic Director, Oracle Global Load Balancer, F5, HAProxy, or equivalent tools.
• Implement whole-server migration, service migration, and singleton services for automated failover.
• Develop and test middleware disaster recovery runbooks across on-premises and OCI environments.
• Document and validate failover and switchover procedures against recovery time and recovery point objectives.

• Tune JVM heap, garbage collection, thread pools, work managers, and related settings to improve throughput and stability.
• Diagnose performance using WLST, Web Logic Diagnostic Framework, Java Flight Recorder, and thread or heap dumps.
• Resolve stuck threads, memory leaks, connection pool exhaustion, and session issues.
• Plan capacity for Web Logic domains, JVM instances, and clusters based on workload demand.
• Integrate Web Logic monitoring with tools such as OEM, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.

• Plan and execute Web Logic and Fusion Middleware security and release patches using Oracle patching tools.
• Manage Middleware homes, inventories, patch dependencies, and conflicts.
