Job Description
As a NOC L1 Engineer in Riyadh, KSA, you will serve as the frontline technical anchor responsible for ensuring high availability, latency monitoring, and continuous service health across enterprise network systems. Your daily responsibilities will encompass monitoring servers, applications, and WAN/LAN infrastructure using advanced monitoring tools, identifying and troubleshooting alerts, and logging, tracking, and closing incidents through ITSM platforms like Service Now, Jira, or Manage Engine.
You will coordinate closely with internal technical teams, third-party vendors, and service providers while maintaining meticulous incident logs and shift handover reports. Candidates are required to submit their updated resume via email to
- Monitor enterprise networks, systems, servers, applications, and infrastructure continuously using advanced monitoring tools.
- Identify, acknowledge, triage, and troubleshoot real-time network alerts and operational incidents.
- Perform L1 technical troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth availability, packet latency, and overall service health metrics.
- Log, track, update, and resolve incidents through enterprise ITSM and ticketing platforms (Service Now, Jira, Manage Engine).
- Ensure all technical incidents and service requests are handled and resolved within defined SLA parameters.
- Escalate unresolved or high-impact network incidents promptly to L2/L3 engineering teams per established procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with internal technical teams, telecom vendors, and external service providers.
- Maintain accurate incident logs, shift handover reports, and detailed troubleshooting documentation.
- Proactively identify recurring network issues, bottleneck patterns, and report potential service disruptions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional work experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), IT Support, or Infrastructure Support role.
- Strong foundational understanding of TCP/IP networking, LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
- Hands-on experience operating enterprise network and infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with ITSM and ticketing platforms such as Service Now, Jira, Manage Engine, or Fresh service.
- Basic system administration knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and network hardware devices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical problem-solving, and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and remain focused in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
- Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent credentials.
- Prior experience supporting mission-critical enterprise or telecommunications networks in the KSA or GCC region.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM logging tools and automated incident ticketing workflows.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and wireless network controllers.
- Immediate availability for local mobilization in Riyadh.
