Cards Domain Test SME​/Test Lead | Focus Infotech | KSA

Position Summary:

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Cards Domain Test SME / Test Lead to join our financial technology and payment systems team on a full-time basis in Riyadh, KSA. In this critical quality assurance and testing leadership role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end testing strategies, scheme integration testing, and formal certification processes for debit and credit card platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of specialized experience in card payments, mada, Visa, Mastercard, authorization flows, clearing and settlement, and multi-channel banking integration (POS, ATM, eCommerce).

As a Cards Domain Test SME / Test Lead in Riyadh, KSA via Focus Infotech, you will serve as the principal quality assurance authority responsible for validating complex financial transaction systems and scheme certifications. Your daily responsibilities will encompass validating card lifecycle processes, executing rigorous scheme integration and certification scenarios, managing defect life cycles, and overseeing retesting and regression testing cycles across POS, ATM, and eCommerce channels.

You will collaborate closely with software engineers, business analysts, and payment network representatives to ensure flawless execution and compliance.

• Lead comprehensive test planning, test execution, and quality assurance strategies for debit and credit card processing platforms.
• Validate end-to-end card lifecycle processes, tokenization, cardholder data flows, and transaction switching.
• Execute rigorous scheme certification testing for payment networks including mada, Visa, and Mastercard.
• Validate complex ATM, POS, and eCommerce transaction routing, authorization, clearing, and settlement workflows.
• Design, execute, and oversee certification scenarios, test cases, and integration scripts.
• Manage defect tracking, bug triage, retesting, and comprehensive regression testing cycles across project sprints.
• Collaborate proactively with software developers, product managers, and external payment scheme auditors.
• Ensure strict adherence to payment security standards, PCI-DSS compliance, and banking regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior testers, QA engineers, and test analysts on financial domain protocols and testing best practices.
• Author comprehensive test strategies, test summary reports, traceability matrices, and QA execution runbooks.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6+ years of professional software testing and quality assurance experience within the financial services or payment domain.
• Deep specialized expertise in Debit/Credit Cards, mada, Visa, and Mastercard payment architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with authorization, clearing, settlement, POS, ATM, and eCommerce transaction processing.
• Proven track record managing scheme certification testing, defect life cycles, and regression test suites.
• Outstanding analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
• Strong familiarity with test management tools (Jira, HP ALM, Test Rail) and automated testing frameworks.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization:
  Ability to operate on-site in Riyadh, KSA.

• Professional certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or payment industry accreditations.
• Prior professional experience working within regional KSA banking institutions or major payment gateways.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and automated test scripting using Python or Java.
• Immediate availability for professional mobilization in Riyadh.
