Lead Business Analyst – Data Management & Analytics

Position Summary

We are seeking an elite Lead Business Analyst specializing in Data Management and Analytics with 5+ years of professional experience to drive critical data initiatives for a leading banking client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, through Linnk Group. As a Lead Business Analyst for Data Management & Analytics, you will take full ownership of the data lifecycle from requirements gathering and business rules definition to solution validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You will collaborate closely with enterprise architects, data engineers, and senior business stakeholders to define Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data ownership policies, and comprehensive data governance protocols.

Your daily responsibilities will involve writing complex SQL queries, designing KPIs and KRIs, conducting thorough data mapping, and building intuitive BI dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau. Operating within a high-stakes banking environment, you will ensure full alignment with regulatory frameworks such as NDMO and PDPL, while maintaining rigorous standards for data quality, metadata management, and enterprise data lakehouse architectures.

• Lead comprehensive business and data requirements gathering, translating complex financial needs into detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
• Design, implement, and enforce robust data governance, metadata management, data ownership protocols, and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) identification.
• Perform advanced data analysis, validation, and complex SQL querying across enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) aligned with banking operational objectives.
• Build and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting suites using Business Intelligence tools including Power BI and Tableau.
• Drive data quality initiatives, root‑cause analysis for data anomalies, and data remediation strategies across banking source systems.
• Facilitate end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), solution validation, and defect tracking with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with regional data protection frameworks including NDMO and PDPL standards in Saudi Arabia.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related technical/business discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Business Analysis, Data Management, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence roles.
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL and data analysis methodologies across relational databases and modern data warehouse environments.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, creating BRDs, defining business rules, and managing senior stakeholder expectations.
• Solid working knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes/Lakehouse architectures, and data quality frameworks.
