Domain Test SME​/Test Lead

In this critical quality assurance and testing leadership role, you will be responsible for driving comprehensive testing activities across critical financial and payment platforms, ensuring robust, compliant, and secure payment processing. The ideal candidate will bring 8 to 12+ years of professional experience in payments domain testing, deep expertise in regional and international payment systems such as SARIE, RTGS, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and SADAD, and a strong track record of managing end-to-end certification testing cycles.

As a Payments Domain Test SME / Test Lead in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will serve as the principal quality assurance authority driving payment system validation and regulatory compliance. Your daily responsibilities will encompass preparing and executing comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, validating end-to-end payment flows across diverse channels, managing defect life cycles, and leading regression and certification testing for SARIE, RTGS, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and SADAD architectures.

You will collaborate closely with business analysts, technology teams, external vendors, and financial stakeholders to resolve payment processing anomalies and ensure seamless go-live executions.

• Prepare, review, and execute comprehensive payment test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases for complex financial systems.
• Validate end-to-end (E2E) payment flows and transaction life cycles across multiple banking channels and integration points.
• Perform specialized testing for regional and international payment processes including SARIE, RTGS, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and SADAD.
• Support regulatory, certification, and financial compliance testing activities mandated by central banking authorities.
• Manage defect tracking life cycles, coordinate retesting efforts, and track root-cause resolutions with technical teams.
• Execute rigorous regression testing cycles to ensure payment functionality remains stable across software updates and patches.
• Work closely with business analysts, software developers, payment vendors, and project stakeholders to resolve payment issues.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks and API testing routines for payment transaction validation.
• Author comprehensive test strategy documents, traceability matrices, test summary reports, and sign-off documentation.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality governance to junior testers and quality assurance analysts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 to 12+ years of professional experience in software testing, with specialized focus on the payments and banking domain.
• Deep technical expertise and hands-on testing experience with SARIE, RTGS, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and SADAD payment systems.
• Strong proficiency in end-to-end (E2E) testing, API testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Proven background in regulatory, compliance, and financial certification testing frameworks.
• Excellent defect management, analytical problem-solving, and root-cause diagnostic capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive stakeholder presentation abilities.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization:
  Ability to operate in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

• Professional testing certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Manager / Test Analyst).
• Prior experience working within major banks, financial institutions, or payment gateway providers in the KSA or GCC region.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, Tosca) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with real-time gross settlement systems and cross-border messaging standards.
• Immediate availability for local mobilization in Riyadh.
