Senior Pre Sales Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Engineer to support our sales and business development teams in designing, positioning, and presenting advanced cybersecurity solutions to enterprise and government customers across Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate should have minimum of 10 years of relevant cybersecurity experience within reputable large-scale companies, system integrators, cybersecurity providers, or enterprise organizations in Saudi Arabia, with strong exposure to the Saudi cybersecurity market, enterprise customers, vendors, and regulatory requirements.

The candidate will work closely with Account Managers, Business Development teams, cybersecurity vendors, distributors, and technical delivery teams to understand customer requirements, develop competitive technical solutions, and support the successful acquisition of strategic cybersecurity projects.

• Work closely with Sales, Account Management, and Business Development teams to qualify opportunities and understand customer business, security, and technical requirements.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions, technical meetings, workshops, and solution presentations.
• Design end-to-end cybersecurity architectures and solutions covering areas such as:
  • SIEM / SOC
  • XDR / EDR
  • SOAR
  • Network Security, NGFW, IPS, WAF & ZTNA
  • IAM / PAM
  • DLP & Data Security
  • Email & Web Security
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Security Operations & Managed Security Services
• Translate customer requirements into technically feasible and commercially competitive cybersecurity solutions.
• Prepare High-Level Designs (HLDs), solution architectures, technical proposals, Bills of Materials (BoM), sizing, and scope of work.
• Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, including requirements analysis, compliance matrices, technical solution design, technical documentation, and clarification responses.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and executive-level solution briefings.
• Lead and coordinate Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, including planning, deployment support, configuration, tuning, testing, evaluation, and final reporting.
• Work closely with cybersecurity vendors and distributors to validate architectures, sizing, licensing, pricing, technical compliance, and competitive positioning.
• Compare competing cybersecurity technologies and provide technical differentiation and positioning during sales opportunities.
• Support commercial teams with technical input for pricing, licensing models, implementation requirements, and project scope.
• Collaborate with implementation and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover of awarded projects, including HLD, LLD, BoM, Scope of Work, assumptions, and technical documentation.
• Participate in customer meetings throughout the sales lifecycle, from initial discovery through technical closure and project award.
• Maintain strong technical relationships with customers, vendors, distributors, and technology partners.
• Stay current with cybersecurity technologies, emerging threats, industry trends, vendor roadmaps, and competitive solutions.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of the cybersecurity environment and regulatory landscape in Saudi Arabia, including practical exposure to relevant frameworks and requirements such as:

• NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC)
• NCA Cloud Cybersecurity Controls (CCC)
• SAMA Cybersecurity Framework
• ISO/IEC 27001
• Relevant government and sector-specific cybersecurity requirements

Experience working on cybersecurity opportunities for Saudi government entities, semi-government organizations, financial institutions, telecom operators, or large enterprise customers is highly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Networking, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant cybersecurity experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably within large enterprises, leading system integrators, cybersecurity companies, MSSPs, or major technology vendors.
• Proven experience in Cybersecurity Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Security Consulting is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of multiple cybersecurity domains and enterprise security architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in solution design, architecture, sizing, licensing, and BoM preparation.
