Taqniyat is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and accomplished Network & Data Center Engineer with professional enterprise networking, data center infrastructure, and telecommunications operations experience to join our client engagement team on a full-time, onsite basis in Riyadh, KSA (strictly open to candidates currently residing in Riyadh, KSA). In this specialized network engineering and data center role, you will spearhead designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining robust routing and switching architectures, server racks, structured cabling, and high-availability data center environments.

You will work closely with enterprise IT infrastructure teams, cloud architects, and technical project managers to ensure optimal network performance, resilience, and security compliance. Ideal candidates bring a robust academic degree in electrical engineering or computer science, deep practical mastery of Cisco/Juniper networking equipment, and immediate availability for deployment in Riyadh.

As a Network & Data Center Engineer at Taqniyat in Riyadh, KSA, you will take full ownership of enterprise network infrastructure operations, data center facility management, routing protocols, and hardware maintenance. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass configuring BGP, OSPF, and MPLS routing, managing enterprise switches and routers, monitoring data center power and cooling systems, and troubleshooting complex connectivity and hardware faults. You will collaborate proactively with cross-functional IT support squads to execute planned maintenance windows, implement security firewalls, and maintain comprehensive network documentation.

Working in a fast-paced technology consulting environment in Riyadh, you will drive operational excellence, network stability, and infrastructure scalability.

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain robust enterprise routing and switching architectures within regional data center facilities.
• Manage and optimize core networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, and MPLS across service provider environments.
• Oversee data center infrastructure operations, including server rack installation, structured cabling, power distribution, and environmental monitoring.
• Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve complex network connectivity, hardware failures, and performance bottlenecks swiftly.
• Implement and administer enterprise network security policies, firewalls, VPN tunnels, and access control lists (ACLs).
• Monitor network bandwidth utilization, latency, and device health utilizing advanced network monitoring tools and SNMP protocols.
• Coordinate and execute planned maintenance windows, firmware upgrades, and hardware replacement cycles without service disruption.
• Collaborate proactively with cross-functional IT support squads, system administrators, and external telecommunications vendors.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, network topology diagrams, IP address inventories, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure strict adherence to corporate security baselines, data center safety regulations, and Saudi telecommunications standards.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional working experience specializing in enterprise network engineering and data center infrastructure operations.
• Strong technical proficiency and hands-on operational mastery of Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei routing and switching platforms.
• Extensive practical expertise configuring and troubleshooting core networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, MPLS).
• Proven experience managing physical data center facilities, hardware rack-and-stack, and structured cabling standards.
• Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities, root-cause troubleshooting, and network diagnostic proficiency.
