Senior Presales Consultant – Content

Open Text is seeking a Senior Presales Consultant – Content to support our growing business in Saudi Arabia. This is a senior, customer-facing role focused on Content, ECM and Information Management solutions
, working closely with Account Executives, Sales Specialists, Services and partners to win complex enterprise opportunities.

You will lead the presales engagement from discovery and requirements gathering through solution positioning, demonstrations, RFPs and POCs
, engaging business and technical stakeholders including CIOs, CDOs and IT leaders.

The ideal candidate combines strong Content/ECM expertise with consultative presales and commercial skills and can translate complex technology into clear customer value.

• Partner with Sales throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from qualification and discovery through closure.
• Lead customer discovery, requirements gathering and solution positioning around Content and ECM challenges.
• Design and position Open Text Content solutions aligned to customer business requirements.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations, workshops and executive presentations to technical and business audiences.
• Lead or support RFPs, RFIs, tenders, POCs and technical evaluations
  .
• Develop solution proposals and value propositions that connect technology to business outcomes.
• Collaborate with system integrators and technology partners on joint customer opportunities.
• Support competitive positioning and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships.

• 8+ years in enterprise software / technology, with significant experience in presales, solution consulting or solution architecture
  .
• Proven experience in customer-facing presales supporting complex enterprise software sales.
• Strong background in Content, ECM, Content Services, Document Management or Information Management
  .
• Experience across discovery, solution positioning, demonstrations, RFP/RFI and POC activities.
• Experience engaging senior business and IT stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Experience with platforms such as Open Text, Documentum, IBM File Net, Hyland/OnBase, Doxis, Nuxeo, Alfresco, Laserfiche, Newgen, Kofax/Tungsten or similar
  .
• Strong understanding of enterprise integrations and business applications such as ERP, CRM and SAP.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value and compelling customer propositions
  .

A senior presales professional who can work alongside an Account Executive and independently lead the solutioning side of complex opportunities
.

You should be equally comfortable discussing business challenges with senior executives and working through solution requirements with technical teams.

This is a presales and solution consulting role
, not an implementation, development, administration or traditional account management position.

• Strong understanding of the enterprise technology market
  .
• Previous experience working with Saudi customers in presales or solution consulting strongly preferred.
• Experience with government, regulated industries, large enterprises or major system integrators is advantageous.
• Existing Saudi customer or partner relationships are highly desirable.
• Fluent English and Arabic, written and spoken, required.
• Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
