Infrastructure Architect | Trio Services; Trio Telecom

Trio Services (Trio Telecom) is actively seeking an experienced and strategic Infrastructure Architect to join our on-site engagement with a high-security client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on a full-time contract basis. In this critical enterprise architecture role, you will design the foundation everything else runs on—compute, storage, network, resilience, and security. You will define infrastructure reference architectures, target states, and resilience frameworks for large-scale security-sector programs.

This opportunity requires an elite technical architect with a valid Saudi Iqama and immediate availability for fully on-site work in Riyadh.

As an Infrastructure Architect at Trio Services, you will take full technical ownership of designing robust enterprise data center foundations, compute clusters, storage area networks, and network virtualization platforms in Riyadh. Your day-to-day responsibilities include architecting high availability (HA), backup, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, setting rigorous standards for capacity planning, system hardening, and infrastructure security within regulated government environments. You will produce comprehensive architecture documents, strategic roadmaps, and design reviews, collaborating closely with client stakeholders, security officers, and engineering teams.

Furthermore, you will ensure strict compliance with national security standards and operational excellence frameworks.

• Define comprehensive infrastructure reference architectures, target states, and technology transformation roadmaps for enterprise programmes.
• Design scalable compute, storage, enterprise networking, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or open-source equivalents).
• Architect high availability (HA), robust backup systems, and enterprise disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
• Establish rigorous standards for capacity planning, system hardening, and infrastructure security in regulated environments.
• Produce high-quality architecture documents, design reviews, compliance reports, and technical roadmaps.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, cybersecurity officers, and engineering teams across security-sector client sites.
• Oversee infrastructure deployment validation, configuration audits, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure strict adherence to government security mandates, data protection policies, and operational governance frameworks.

• Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure architecture, data center design, and enterprise systems engineering.
• Proven track record as an Infrastructure Architect delivering large-scale enterprise or government programmes.
• Strong technical background in data center infrastructure, compute sizing, storage arrays, networking, and virtualization design.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure security, hardening, and compliance standards within regulated or government environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder communication, technical documentation, and executive presentation capabilities.
• Mandatory possession of a valid Saudi Iqama.
• Mandatory availability to start at short notice and work fully on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Professional architecture certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or VMware VCP/VCIX.
• Prior working experience within defense, security-sector, intelligence, or government digital transformation agencies across the GCC.
• Advanced knowledge of software-defined data center (SDDC) architectures, cloud-native storage, and containerized infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NCA (National Cybersecurity Authority) controls, and government security frameworks in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong experience in budgeting, cost estimation, and vendor hardware procurement evaluations.
