We are seeking Cloud Engineer to support a remote engagement for a client in Saudi Arabia. . The ideal candidate is a hands-on, operations-focused engineer comfortable owning infrastructure reliability and automation across a hybrid, multi-cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters (deployment, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting) in production environments
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops automation workflows to support development and release cycles
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (e.g.,
Terraform
) for provisioning and configuration management across cloud environments - Manage device and endpoint policies through Microsoft Intune
, including compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment - Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and security across cloud and endpoint layers; respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Support cloud cost optimization, resource governance, and tagging/organization standards across GCP and AWS
- Collaborate with the client's internal IT, security, and Dev Ops teams to align infrastructure operations with broader organizational policies
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures
- Participate in on-call/operational support rotations as required by the client (clarify with client if applicable)
- Strong Dev Ops background: CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions), scripting/automation (Python, Bash)
- Proven hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production (deployments, Helm, scaling, troubleshooting)
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for endpoint/device management and compliance
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security fundamentals across GCP and AWS
- Experience with monitoring/observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Watch, Stackdriver)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, application, and network layers
- Ability to work independently in a remote capacity with clear, proactive communication
