Job Purpose
Responsible for the design, administration, and optimization of the SAP Ariba platform and S/4
HANA Material Management (SAP MM), ensuring it effectively supports procurement, sourcing, and supplier management. As the SAP Ariba and SAP MM subject matter expert, this role drives efficiency and strategic alignment through solution architecture, process improvement, and data governance. The Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, ensure ERP integration, and enable effective procurement strategies and compliance, adding value across the procurement lifecycle.
The scope of responsibility for this position will include SAP Ariba and SAP S/4
HANA Procurement tasks as well (i.e. MM / Inventory).
- Design and architect end- to
-end SAP Ariba solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices. - Design and architect end-to-end SAP MM solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in SAP Ariba modules, including sourcing, procurement, contracts, supplier management, and guided buying.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in SAP MM modules, including materials requirement planning, procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification.
- Define the technical and functional architecture of the SAP Ariba and SAP MM ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4
HANA and other third-party systems to enable unified data flow and streamlined processes. - Lead design workshops with cross-functional stakeholders, capturing business requirements, translating them into detailed technical designs, and gaining buy-in to create sustainable solutions.
- Define a strategic roadmap for the ongoing enhancement of SAP Ariba and SAP MM f unctionalities, incorporating best practices, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement to meet evolving business needs.
- Define the use of BTP in the extensibility of SAP functionality outside of the core SAP S/4
HANA to meeting business innovation requirements. - Define the use of Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) cloud-based middleware in Ariba integration to other solutions in the Solution Architecture.
