An urgent hiring opportunity is available for an experienced Dev Ops Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position is offered on a 12-month extendable contract, with the potential for a longer-term engagement.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience working in cloud environments, with strong hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Git Lab, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible automation, and Kubernetes cluster management.
Applicants should also understand cloud networking, containerization, microservices architecture, service discovery, and monitoring solutions. Arabic-speaking candidates who can join immediately are preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab.
- Manage cloud infrastructure across GCP and OCI environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Use Ansible for automation, including Kubernetes package management.
- Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Work with Nacos for service registry and configuration management.
- Support cloud networking, containerization, and microservices-based environments.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to reliable cloud operations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve automation, deployment processes, and infrastructure reliability.
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience as a Dev Ops Engineer in cloud environments, preferably GCP and OCI.
- Strong knowledge of Git Lab, CI/CD, Terraform, and IaC practices.
- Proficiency in Ansible automation.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes, particularly GKE.
- Familiarity with Nacos for service registry and configuration.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, containerization, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- GCP professional certifications, such as GCP Professional Cloud Dev Ops Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Arabic speakers only.
